Mar 9, 2014 · Location: VA. It sounds like the cylinder for which you are attempting to adjust the valve clearance is not at top dead center (OT). As mentioned before, top dead center occurs just after (or when) the intake valve closes. Pay close attention to the intake valve position along with the flywheel markings.

May 14, 2009 · It runs great. The nice thing about the slide throttle is that you can have it completely open at any speed just by twisting the grip. I have found that the mid range response is much better and the top end is the same. The 30-34 carbs all use the same casting. I would think your BMW would do well with the 32s or 34s. The VM Mikuni is easy to tune.

Feb 10, 2014 · I just finished re wiring my 1993 BMW R100 RS First things first, ALL of the wiring has been removed and redone using the motogadget m-unit I have everything wired, except I cant figure out how to wire the ignition control unit to the coils. I currently have the original ICU on there, and have the Bosch coils as well. (See picture below)
