how to deal with karma cut and banishing effects? : r/DuelLinks
Sep 6, 2021 · I'm trying to find a way around Karma cut and monsters' banishing effects. last couple of duels I played got my monsters banished and really got annoyed, I use D/D/D deck and nothing really work against banishing, I either run out of card or don't have the same type for my Ultimate Providance.

Aug 15, 2020 · Naturally divine wrath I think would be better but I don’t have a copy. I know both of these cards don’t actually banish in the same way as karma cut but they are the best I could think of right now. Ultimate providence, divine wrath, raigeki break. Those were being used in Blue Eyes before karma cut became a staple.

Sep 2, 2014 · karma cut without a doubt IMO. This format isnt too much of a backrow format, it's more focused on grave effects so karma cut puts in a lot of work IMO you could run x2 karma cut and 1 raigeki break, but karma cut should definitely be run

Jan 12, 2022 · Is Karma Cut or Ultimate Providence more versatile? I understand why KC is so powerful and commonly used, but I have made way more clutch plays with UP. I'd rather shut down an enemy's turn completely with UP over banishing it after it's effect is used. This is my current BEWD deck for reference.

Aug 23, 2020 · Karma Cut isn’t exactly a replacement as it can’t remove backrow for example. One thing that makes Ballista squad popular in Shiranui is that it can help with backrow, which is useful as Shiranui is severly limited using Cosmic cyclone. That said, Karma cut is a really strong card in Shiranui.

Apr 27, 2015 · The way I look at it, the only match-ups I'd prefer Raigeki Break are Yosenju, Qliphort and some rogue but for Shaddoll, Heroes, Nekroz, Tellars, BA mirror and any combo-reliant rogue deck, Karma Cut is the better card 99% of the time.
